The Lipstick Building is located on 53rd st and 5h avenue. The architects responsible for this building are John Burgee and Philip Johnson. The building is called the lipstick because it the color and shape is identical to a lipstick. This building starts off thicker on the bottom and thins up at the top. This building takes up less street space since it isnt a quadrilateral building. It also looks different from the other buildings in the area. This building was completed in 1986. It stands at a height of 453 ft. I like the fact that a little everyday utensil turned into a building that represents it.
